Grzegorz Osiński

Grzegorz Osiński (1967-2022) – quantum physicist, computer scientist and cognitive scientist. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science at the Nicolaus Copernicus University, where in 2000 he defended his doctoral thesis. In 2001-2002, he was a scholarship holder in the COCOMO project implemented at the Technical University in Kaiserlautern. In 2002-2003, he was a National Research Council scholarship holder at the NASA/JPL laboratories in Pasadena, California. For 15 years he headed the Institute of Computer Science at the Academy of Social and Media Culture in Toruń. He was involved in the analysis of non-linear chaotic models in medical sciences and experimental psychology. Author of numerous scientific publications on the use of numerical algorithms in experimental brain research.

In the Bitscope Project, he was responsible for cognitive issues of perception in the reception of visual messages.
